Each year, we award six high school seniors or undergraduate students a $500 scholarship. We are proud to give six deserving students of Eastex Credit Union the chance to apply and obtain a scholarship for college expenses.

With shared branching, credit unions from all over the country share facilities to give members thousands of convenient locations to perform transactions just as If they were at their home credit union. This can help if you are traveling and need to visit a shared branch or no-surcharge ATMs. This is one of the many ways that credit unions form a cooperative for the benefit of the member. Eastex is proud to take part in the shared branching initiative!

Each account that you have at Eastex Credit Union is insured of up to $250,000. Through American Share Insurance (ASI), there is no limitation to the number of accounts that can be insured. For example, 20 account types = $5,000,000 worth of coverage to one member.
